Wolfgang Reitzle is appointed new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Continental AG – Executive Management Board now complete

Today’s new appointments in the Executive Management Board and Supervisory Board mean that the management of Continental AG is now complete. “With this strong team of managers, we are in an excellent position to meet the challenges Continental AG now faces”, explained Maria-Elisabeth Schaeffler, owner of the Schaeffler Group and member of the Supervisory Board of Continental AG.

“The great potential that lies in the merger of Continental and Schaeffler can now be made reality with the experience and reputation of Professor Dr. Wolfgang Reitzle as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and the operational know-how of the Executive Management Board under the leadership of Dr. Elmar Degenhart. We would like to thank Mr. Hans-Rolf Koerfer for his successful work in these difficult times and we are pleased that he will continue to accompany the combination process between our two companies as a member of the Chairman’s Committee of the Supervisory Board,” Mrs. Schaeffler added.
